Our Dropzone at a Glance
Jump Altitudes
At SkyDive USA, we offer exhilarating jump altitudes to maximize your freefall experience:
- Standard Jumps: We routinely jump from 13,000 feet AGL (Above Ground Level), providing approximately 60 seconds of freefall.
- Special Occasion Jumps: Keep an eye on our event calendar for opportunities to jump from our maximum altitude of 18,000 feet AGL, offering an extended freefall of over 90 seconds. These are typically available during boogies and special events.
We prioritize safety and optimal experience for all our licensed jumpers.
Aircraft Fleet
Our modern and well-maintained fleet ensures quick turnarounds and comfortable rides to altitude:
- Twin Otter: Our primary workhorse, capable of taking up to 22 jumpers to altitude in just 15 minutes. Known for its reliability and spacious interior.
- Caravan: A reliable and efficient aircraft, perfect for smaller loads and often used for coaching and specialty jumps, carrying up to 15 jumpers.
- Occasional Guest Aircraft: During large events and boogies, we often feature guest aircraft to accommodate higher volumes and offer diverse jump experiences.
All aircraft are meticulously inspected and maintained to the highest FAA standards.
Dropzone Amenities
SkyDive USA is more than just a place to jump; it's a community hub with excellent facilities:
- Spacious Packing Areas: Climate-controlled indoor packing areas with plenty of room, carpeted floors, and packing tables.
- Gear Store: On-site store stocked with essential gear, accessories, and SkyDive USA merchandise. Expert staff available for advice.
- Café & Lounge: Relax and refuel at our café offering fresh coffee, snacks, and light meals. Comfortable lounge area with Wi-Fi.
- Camping Facilities: Overnight camping available for a small fee, with access to showers and restrooms. Perfect for multi-day events.
- Creeping Area: Dedicated area for practicing formations and drills on the ground, complete with a creeper cart.
- Showers & Restrooms: Clean and well-maintained facilities for your convenience.
Manifest Procedures
Our streamlined manifest system ensures efficient operations and quick access to the skies:
- Check-in: All licensed jumpers must check in at manifest upon arrival, present their valid USPA license and logbook, and sign waivers.
- Load Registration: Register for loads at the manifest desk. Loads are typically called every 20-30 minutes, depending on demand and aircraft availability.
- Load Organizing: Look for designated load organizers for various disciplines (FS, Freefly, Wingsuit) to join organized jumps.
- Payments: Jump tickets and gear rental payments are handled at manifest. We accept cash and all major credit cards.
Please arrive with enough time to check in and prepare for your first jump of the day.
Safety & Regulations
Your safety is our paramount concern. We adhere to all USPA Basic Safety Requirements (BSRs) and local dropzone regulations:
- Gear Checks: All jumpers are responsible for proper gear checks. Riggers are available on-site for inspections and last-minute adjustments.
- Briefings: Attend mandatory safety briefings, especially if you are new to our dropzone or if conditions change.
- Landing Patterns: Familiarize yourself with our designated landing patterns and avoid prohibited areas.
- Emergency Procedures: Know the location of emergency equipment and understand our emergency protocols.

Please note:
- All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
- Jump packages are non-refundable and expire 12 months from the date of purchase.
- A valid USPA license and current reserve repack are required for all rentals.
- Renter is responsible for any damage to rented equipment beyond normal wear and tear.

Safety is our top priority at SkyDive USA. To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone, all licensed skydivers are required to be familiar with and adhere to our dropzone rules and procedures. This section provides a brief overview; for complete details, please refer to our comprehensive Dropzone Manual (DZM).
Key Dropzone Regulations
Below are some of the most critical rules and procedures every licensed skydiver must follow while at SkyDive USA. Your cooperation helps maintain our excellent safety record.
Before You Jump:
- Check-in & Waivers: All skydivers must check in at manifest, present a valid USPA license, and sign the daily waiver.
- Gear Checks: Perform thorough gear checks. Ensure your reserve is in date (180 days) and your AAD is current and armed. Riggers are available for assistance.
- Briefings: Attend any mandatory safety briefings, especially if you are new to the dropzone or if weather conditions are challenging.
- Weather Minimums: Adhere to USPA and SkyDive USA weather minimums. If in doubt, ask a manifest or instructor.
- Altitude Restrictions: Respect any temporary or permanent altitude restrictions in place.
- Emergency Information: Ensure your emergency contact information is up to date at manifest.
During & After the Jump:
- Aircraft Safety: Follow all instructions from pilots and jumpmasters inside the aircraft.
- Separation & Break-off: Maintain safe separation from other groups and ensure clear break-off at the designated altitude.
- Landing Patterns: Fly predictable landing patterns. Avoid low turns and always be aware of other canopy traffic.
- Designated Landing Area: Land only in the designated landing area. Avoid landing near buildings, roads, or parking lots.
- Gear Retrieval: After landing, clear the landing area quickly and safely. Retrieve your gear promptly.
- Incident Reporting: Any incidents, malfunctions, or close calls must be reported to a manifesting staff member or safety officer immediately.
